Technical Sales - Utilities Specialist
The role of Technical sales is to form an integral part of the Sales & Marketing team in implementing the sales component of the Company's business plan and growing Quasar through generating profitable business.
We are seeking:
A strong team player with, initiative and a sound background in the Utility Market with respect to some or all of Energy & Power Quality Monitoring, MDM, SCADA, and Surveillance systems in the Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution fields.
The role:
Is challenging and involves in depth work with our existing client base as well as development of new business. As innovators in the market we are seeking a self-starter with initiative, an eye for opportunities and ability to see leads through to completion. A sound technical base is essential while either experience in, or attributes suitable to, developing a sales focus are required for this role which will involve:
- Market Development
- Sales
- Liaison with our Engineers in Technical design of solutions.
- Sales planning
- Business development including awareness of industry developments and technology changes.
