Quasar are pleased to announce that the two latest ION meters from Schneider Electric have now gained certification to be used within New Zealand in revenue metering installations.
The PM8000 series is an intermediate Power Quality & Revenue meter ideal for building incomers, critical feeders or anywhere that the power of ION technology is desired.
It's companion for the utility market is the ION7400 series, based on the same platform, and with additional features making it ideal for substation feeder or distribution transformer installations.
Both of these meters now are certified against EIPC 2010 COP 10.4 and approved for use metering and recording of electrical revenue data.
