At the Schneider Electric 2021 Digital Power Leadership Summit, we presented a case study on how we had helped Argosy implement an energy management system to support their sustainability goals. The summit was attended by Schneider Electric EcoXpert Critical Power and Substation Automation Masters from across the globe, a number of which also presented case studies.
We’re delighted to announce that we won the Partner of Distinction Award for this work with Argosy. It’s always lovely to receive recognition for our work so a big congratulations to our team for this and in particular Richard, Arneil and Olivier who have been responsible for this project and presenting the case study.

A huge congrats to Peter, Saatyesh, Nathan and the team at Argosy, whose property at 82 Wyndham Street has become the first building in New Zealand to receive carbonzero certification (awarded by Toitū Envirocare and NZGBC). This is a fantastic achievement and adds to the great results they have already achieved at 82 Wyndham Street which also has a 5.5 NABERSNZ rating and a 5 Green Star rating.
We’re proud to have provided Argosy’s energy management system which they use to monitor and record energy usage, and provides the reporting they need to help them verify their energy savings. Argosy have implemented their energy management system across nine of their properties, including 82 Wyndham Street, with more properties in the process of being added.

We’re excited to announce the release of the Quasar Portable Meter.
When you need to quickly collect data for decision making or to find power quality issues, a portable meter is a cost-effective solution.
Our portable meters gather power and energy data including high-speed transients that are often hard to capture and provide you with real-time data from your system.
How do I access the data collected?
Your data is sent to Power Monitoring Expert (PME) software that is hosted by us and has a variety of dashboards and reports that allow you to view your data and see trends, issues, or areas to investigate more easily.
We also give you a training session at the start of your hire period, where we teach you how to access and interpret your data in PME.
The portable meter is simple and quick to install, and although this does need to be done by a licenced electrician, as soon as they have connected the meter and contacted us to verify this, data will start to be logged.
Congratulations to Arneil who is our new Senior Application Engineer in the Client Services team.
As Senior Application Engineer, Arneil is now the main point of contact for our support customers with enquiries and will also work as part of Client Services to deliver customer training and other client services offers. Arneil is also our Product Specialist and is the lead connection between Quasar and our suppliers, maintaining relationships, documentation, and news.
