iS5 Expands Range to include Modular Switch

iS5 Communications recently announced the latest addition to their growing family of communications solutions. The iES28TG is a intelligent 28 port configurable gigabit switch that embraces IEC 61850, IEEE 1613, and EN50155.

• 3 Slots for Fast Ethernet (100Mb) and Gigabit (1000Mb) line modules
• 1 Slot for High Capacity uplinks (4 x 10G Copper or Fiber)

• IEEE 1588 PTP v2 – Precision Timing Protocol time synchronization

Redundancy

• IEC62439 Redundancy using HSR and PRP modules (TBD)
